What’s included

Our Silver Service is designed to offer families everything they need for a traditional Funeral Service. It includes everything required to provide your loved one with a Funeral that honours their life and what they meant to you.

We will work closely with you to personalise and add any additional touches such as flowers, Orders of Service and Limousines (not included in the package). You will be informed of all and any additional costs before you make any commitments.

Our Silver Service Package is priced at £3,600 and this includes all of the below;

• Collection of your loved one locally in working hours (9am and 5pm) (£250 charge out of these hours)
• Funeral Directors Professional Fees and administration
• Care and Preparation of your loved one in our care inc. dressing, hair and make-up
• Use of our Private Chapel to allow you to spend time with your loved one.
• Provision of an Oak Veneered Coffin (York)
• Provision of a hearse to attend at an address within the South Yorkshire area, before conveyance to the Crematorium.
• Celebrant/Minister Fee
• Provision of 4 Pall Bearers to carry the coffin
• A 30-40 minute service at a local crematorium
• Cremation Fees
• The handling of any Charitable donations
• Return of Ashes in a Scatter Tube of your choice

(This can be upgraded as per your requirements)

Unattended Cremation

What’s included

In recent times, a Direct (Unattended) Cremation, has become a more popular option for many different reasons. By choosing Hathaways, a small independent Funeral Director, over a larger company, you are ensuring a personal service and a guarantee on the Crematorium used.

We guarantee the same support and care that our more traditional Funeral Services receive. You can visit your loved one in our Chapel of Rest, just as with a Traditional Funeral, and the initial arrangement can be done at your home or in our Funeral Home. We can arrange flowers and add any personalisation as you wish.

• Collection of your loved one locally in working hours (9am and 5pm) (£250 charge out of these hours)
• Funeral Directors Professional Fees and administration
• Care and Preparation of your loved one in our care inc. dressing, hair and make-up
• Use of our Private Chapel to allow you to spend time with your loved one
• Provision of a Coffin
• Conveying your loved one to the Crematorium by our staff, in our Hearse
• Cremation Fees
• Return of Ashes in a Scatter Tube of your choice (This can be upgraded as per your requirements)
• There is also the option to add a short service at our service chapel, or at the crematorium for an additional fee.

Intimate Farewell

What’s included

We are able to offer our Funeral home as an alternative venue at which to hold a Funeral Service. We can accommodate groups of up to 15 people and provide families with the privacy of how they say farewell to their loved ones. This can be a religious, non-religious or a family led service, all with music of your choice. By choosing to hold the service with us, we can offer a flexibility that other venues may not be able to provide. We can even offer both, evening and weekend services. Refreshments will be provided and we can tailor each service to the individuality of your family.

Also included is transportation to the crematorium, by our staff in our Private Ambulance, for an unattended cremation the following working day and the safe return of your loved ones ashes.

Our Intimate Farewell Package is priced at £2,400 and this includes all of the below;

• Collection of your loved one locally in working hours 9am and 5pm. (£250 charge out of these hours)
• Funeral Directors Professional Fees and administration
• Care and Preparation of your loved one in our care inc. dressing, hair and make-up
• Use of our Private Chapel to allow you to spend time with your loved one.
• Provision of an Oak Veneered Coffin
• Service held at our Funeral Home for up to 15 people
• Celebrant/Minister Fee
• Order of Service for up to 15 people
• Light Refreshments for up to 15 people
• Conveying your loved one to the Crematorium by our staff, in our Private Ambulance discreet hearsette
• Cremation Fees
• Return of Ashes in a Scatter Tube of your choice (This can be upgraded as per your requirements)
